The team comprises of Donald and David Robinson, Claire Pritchard and Jane Burgess. Donald and David have been in the painting game since the early 80s, and decided to open a store just over a decade ago.

David explained: "We won national awards for our work, but due to health issues, decided a store would be a better fit, and we were able to bring in lots of different brands from all over the world, some of which were not on the UK market, to show people that there were better products available out there. Because we were painters for so long, we saw what a lot of the problems were and had the experience to help customers avoid those problems. Jane is a brilliant salesperson and Claire was a colour consultant for some of the top brands in Australia.

"With our backgrounds, we can offer a lot of practical hands on advice and you can often find out out at customers' homes or businesses giving them our expert opinion, and our clients hail from all over the UK and Ireland, and because we offer such a specialised service, we have sold to major cruise line operators and Disney. We also attend a lot of trade shows and have very good contacts in the industry."

As winter hoves into view, David said that many people will be thinking about a fresh new look for their homes.

He said: "One of the biggest trends of recent years was the grey colours, which have changed to more stony neutrals, and now greens, Benjamin Moore's colour of the year was a muted green. Although neutral colours have dominated in recent times, bold colour statements are making a return. Colour drenching puts muted, but really deep colours on the walls, the woodwork, everything. Some of the retro stuff is coming back, especially with fabrics and upholstery, with geometric patterns increasing in popularity."

To celebrate the anniversary, Bespoke Decor is offering 10% off Farrow & Ball products for the month of November.

David explained: "Farrow & Ball was the first company we brought in and we have gone from their smallest account in Northern Ireland to their biggest in ten years, and that is something we want to celebrate and share with customers to mark a decade in business."
